Brands have plunged into social statement advertising, but now where do they go? Cadillac, Audi and Kia are only a few of the brands that have done this kind of thing. Gender, race, and many other issues were tackles during the Super Bowl breaks. This begs the question of whether, or not brands are benefiting themselves by doing this, or digging themselves into a bit of a rut. The answer is not very clear yet.
